Retreats

Fall Retreat 2022 was a fun time!  Lots of projects were completed and lots of laughs were had!

Our Fall Retreat was held at The DeKoven Center in Racine on Monday, October 2, 2022 through Friday, October 7, 2022.  The DeKoven Center is just south of downtown Racine and is across the street from Lake Michigan.  You can check out their website at www.dekovencenter.org.    The double occupancy rate is $345 and the single rate is $385.  This includes Monday dinner, 3 meals on Tuesday-Thursday and Friday breakfast.  We will be quilting in Assembly Hall and eating and sleeping in the Retreat Center.  The Assembly Hall is quite large and everyone will have their own 6 foot table and enough room to bring their own Sew Easy table/side table if they wish.  The food is good, you can bring your own snacks and we are close to Jim’s Sew ‘N Save quilt store plus a lot of other great shopping opportunities.  I will take signups starting at the March 17th meeting with a $25 deposit.  Complete payment will be due by September 15th.  Space is limited but do invite past members, friends, etc.  if you wish.  Any questions or to sign up by phone, contact Kathy Mueller, scpbklane@aol.com, 815-953-6601.   

 Our fall retreat was held at The DeKoven Center in Racine (just south of  downtown Racine) on Monday, September 27th – Friday, October 1st.  We had 17 ladies who attended our new location. We got acquainted with  our surroundings, enjoyed our friendships, shopped (Jim’s Sew N Vac is  very close) and some even watched the sunrise over Lake Michigan right  outside the door of Assembly Hall (where we were sewing).  Thank you to the ladies who attended and hope to see you all next year  – and there is room for more guild members.
